# get_cache_home

### deepinv.utils.get_cache_home()

Return a folder to store deepinv cache (datasets, models, etc.).

This folder can be specified by setting the environment variable `DEEPINV_CACHE_DIR`.
If `DEEPINV_CACHE_DIR` is not set, this defaults to `XDG_CACHE_HOME/deepinv` if the environment variable `XDG_CACHE_HOME` is set, otherwise to `~/.cache/deepinv`.

* **Returns:**
  pathlib Path for cache dir
* **Return type:**
  [*Path*](https://docs.python.org/3.12/library/pathlib.html#pathlib.Path)
